The Minister of and Cooperation, Saad-Eddine El , said that overcoming the difficulties that impede the rapprochement with Algeria is "absolute priority" for Morocco, adding that his visit to the country "shows the importance of developing relations with the brothers in Algeria. "

During his visit to Algeria, El held talks with his Algerian counterpart Mourad Medelci on bilateral relations and boosting cooperation in the Maghreb.

The two sides agreed to the holding in 2012 of the High Joint Committee between the two countries as they proposed to encourage meetings between businessmen, , parliamentarians, actors to build bridges strong to promote cooperation and exchange of experiences and expertise.
